Pears and Sweet Potatoes... yummy!

After a good romp on the rug with Willow- Keagan gets a sweet tooth. He is now eating more regularly and about 1-2 tablespoons at a time. He just had pears mixed with a little rice cereal for the first time a couple days ago and it's the first time he's finished a serving of a new food. He is also fond of sweet potatoes. He is also taking a little water from a bottle at mealtimes as well. He often makes a funny face when swallowing water like "mom, this has no flavor... but I can feel something go down my throat."

you could try water from a sippy cup too. He might like just teething on the sippy cup but it is good to get them used to a sippy cup. I know friends whose babies were breastfed and NEVER took a bottle but did get onto a sippy cup at 6 months. If you are lucky, you might be able to go from nursing to sippy cup and never have to then take their bottle away. Just an idea.

There's nothing wrong with a bottle either!
