Halfway there!
Well, I'm 20 weeks pregnant today. Halfway through! Belly growth and weight gain are starting to kick in now, although at a slow, steady pace, which is good. I'm still wearing normal clothes, although some pants are getting a little snug and my smaller t-shirts aren't quite comfy anymore. The baby is continuing to be active in the womb and now has definate cycles of sleep and awake. Erik is still waiting to be able to feel the kicks from the outside- considering how strong they feel to me I can't believe it's not apparent yet, but I know he'll feel it soon. The carpet for the nursery has arrived and I'll send pictures when that project is complete. My next midwife appointment is Feb 28 and we'll be discussing the results from the ultrasound then. Although my midwife said if there was anything alarming she would call me, so we know there shouldn't be anything surprising at the visit, but I'll let you all know what she says. Hurray for Halfway!

Yay! The second half will be more fun, and more fascinating as you realize more and more that there's a wee little peanut actually alive inside you. This blog was such a great idea, I wish I did this for Loula when I was pregnant with her... I check the blog every day for updates!!!
