Midwife Appointment

My midwife appointment went well today. All my vital stats are great. The baby's heartbeat is strong and steady at about 150bpm. The midwife had the ultrasound technician's write up on the findings for my ultrasound. Everything looks normal. The baby is possibly weighing/measuring a little ahead and their guess for a due date was a little earlier at July 3rd.... but since it was still within a week my midwife didn't think much of it. Due dates are just guesses after all! The only baby part they didn't get a close look at was the mouth area because of the positioning of the baby, but they aren't very concerned. If I want to I could have another one to try to see that better in case of evidence of something like a cleft pallet, but it doesn't seem necessary. The baby was already in vertex (head down) position so let's hope he/she stays that way!
