That's right, my 19 1/2 month old has chores

Well, not exactly. But Keagan is now very into helping us feed Willow. I got the idea to let him help get Willow's food into his dish the other day and Keagan loves it. I get the right amount of kibble in a cup, and Keagan transfers the kibble (a couple pieces at a time) to Willow's bowl. After a couple days of that, Keagan started picking up the bowl and carrying it to Willow's bowl stand. Precious! Keagan also likes to "clean up" by picking up little scraps of plastic, dust bunnies, and various other things to remind me how dirty my house is, and hand them to me. He will also "wipe up" any surface that a napkin was left on. Yesterday he cleaned the ottoman for me. So cute! I think he really is starting to feel like a part of the family, and really gets some sense of accomplishment from these tasks. Who am I to stop an eager beaver!
