Happy Easter!
This week at playgroup, I made little baskets for the kids out of poster board and let them put stickers on them. Then we had a little Easter Egg Hunt outside. It was really cute to watch the four kids try to figure out what was going on with these eggs in the grass. Keagan first picked up eggs, shook them, and if they didn't rattle he simply tossed them aside. Until now, all the plastic eggs he's known have been "shaker eggs" in music class. When one of them found an egg with cheese crackers in it, it was like feeding time at the zoo and they all came running. It led to the kids eating crackers from the grass... oh well. Some of the eggs had little toys in them as well, like mini rubber duckies, which were a hit.
Today the weather was pretty nice and so we took Keagan outside to play in his new Jumpolene Castle! We thought he deserved a fun outdoor toy to use in the coming remodel months when I'll be trying to have him out of the house as much as possible. Keagan was skeptical at first, but soon realized what fun the castle was! It took Erik over a half hour to get it blown up (even with an electric pump which came with it). He was happy to see his efforts rewarded.
Happy Easter!

Sounds like they had a super fun day!! When Charlotte was 1 1/2 or so, we had a jumpie type of thing filled with balls too, and Wilson (one of the dogs) popped it with his nails. Keep an eye out for Willow since the dogs do love it too, but it won't last too long if he goes inside.
