Yesterday Keagan picked up a rock outside and said "Big Rock!" I responded "yes, that's a big rock." Then he picked up another rock and said "Two big rocks." I nearly fell off my chair. Apparently he did the same sequence with Erik and some toy cars. He really loves "counting" these days. He points to things and says all kinds of numbers, or just like "da, da, la, na" as he's pointing. One day he did actually count to five in the right sequence. I'm not suggesting he actually understands the concept of numbers and counting, but he loves rythm and sequencing, and that's a first step!
His three-word sentences are also exploding. Just this morning I picked up half of his apple to take a bite and he said "Mommy eating apple."
