Keagan has become fascinated with tunnels lately- street tunnels you go through in the car (parking garages count, thank goodness- they are easier to find), tunnels to crawl through on playgrounds, and of course, the tunnel the train went through at the Ecotarium.
Erik and I decided to make a "fort" for Keagan the other day, which of course is really a big tunnel! First we just draped a blanket over his table, but that wasn't good enough, so we added the cardboard house facing inside the tunnel. That way he could crawl under the blanket and then go into his house. Keagan was enthrawled. Erik was also coaxed into the tunnel to play "Gonna get you"- Keagan's favorite chase game. Keagan also thought it was fun to destroy the tunnel and walk all over its remains. This is the first of a thousand forts in our future.

You'll have to get that boy a real tunnel! We had 2 at one point (all destroyed now). One of them was so big, that adults could crawl through it no problem. I think I bought one on line someplace, and the other came from KB Toys. They LOVE that stuff....well worth the $$$$
