Eggs

Keagan has recently become fascinated by eggs. He loves (and has loved for a while) to eat hard cooked eggs. Until recently, didn't have much contact with the shell still on the eggs, but that's all changed and he's hooked! I let him have an egg with the shell on the other day (after it was cooked) and he played with it for about twenty minutes. He rolled it around on the floor and said "Wobbles like a Weeble" (you know those round-bottomed guys). Then I started to tell him we should either eat the egg or put it in the refrigerator. Next thing I hear is the egg falling on the floor and the shell shattering. "Oh no!!" Keagan cried. "Egg crapped!" Which made me laugh out loud. I taught him how to say "cracked"- it's a hard one. He was very upset and would not eat that egg (the white of it split in the fall, so peeling mangled it a bit). Luckily, I like hard cooked eggs too, and I had made another one ;)
