Memorial Day weekend Parts 2 & 3

On Sunday we spent most of the day trying to be productive. Erik and I made goals to clean out our storage room and get the remaining baby stuff down out of the attic. We didn't quite finish the storage room, but made a good dent and succeeded in getting WAY more stuff out of the attic than I remembered putting up there. We have a lot of baby stuff... may have to trim a little of that down this time around considering our family room is currently filled with Keagan's things already.
Feeling productive and tired, we decided to enjoy the beautiful evening by taking a trip to Kimball Farm in Westford for dinner and ice cream. It was quite hoppin' there, but they handled the crowd well; it's a big place. Erik and I split a fried seafood dinner and Keagan had the chicken finger dinner. Unfortunately, the ambiance (it's outdoor ordering and eating in a big tent) was a bit too distracting and Keagan was too eager to go check out the bumper boats to eat much dinner. Erik and I were able to absolutely stuff ourselves though, even sharing one plate. The crazy portions at this place extend into the ice cream, where you can see Keagan with his "Kiddie" dish in front of him. I made the mistake of ordering a "small" which I swear was a whole pint. Luckily, Erik didn't order any and just had some of mine and Keagan's. Even so- the three of us did not finish those two ice creams.
On Monday, we had Mema and Papa over for a classic Memorial Day lunch of hot dogs, corn on the cob, macaroni salad and fresh berries and whipped cream for dessert. We again had nice weather, but most of the time they were here was spent looking at some of the coloring books Mema had brought, and showing Mema and Papa trains and puzzles. Erik, Keagan and I did, however, spend two hours in the back yard before dinner. I spent most of it on the chaise lounge with my feet up :)
