Christmas Morning

Merry Christmas!
I am grateful to be feeling better for Christmas Day, having had the dreaded stomach bug on the 23rd. Ugh. Sadly, it canceled our Christmas Eve plans with my parents. But I'm happy to be fine today, and the boys are all feeling fine too.
We were also happy to have the boys sleep in until 7:30 this morning :) It started Christmas off nicely.
Keagan ended up opening most of the presents- Torin still doesn't quite get it, and Keagan was happy to "help" him. Gone are the days when it took us 2 days to fully open everything. Keagan now knows how to tear through the process like the best of them.
Two cute moments to highlight. The first was when Keagan saw the car garage toy and said he hadn't asked Santa for that and how did Santa know he would love it? Then Keagan said "Well, it actually has a T and a K on it, it can be for Torin too." Referring to Santa's labeling concept, where toys had either a T or a K on them, however it wasn't true for the garage, that actually said "For Keagan" on a special tag, but Keagan was happy to share the big present.
The second one was when Keagan opened Torin's puppy pillow pet and suddenly put on a big pout and said "I didn't get a pillow pet." He specifically asked Santa (on his lap at the mall) for a ladybug pillow pet. Then Keagan looked around and spotted a present with a K on it that was the same size as the one he'd just opened for Torin and THERE was his pillow pet. He was psyched. It was adorable.
The rest of the day was spent playing with all the new toys, rearranging to make them all fit in the playroom, and relaxing.
