Keagan is now "officially 5" (as he says). I can't believe he's been in our lives 5 years now.
We started off the day with some breakfast and presents. Then, in the afternoon we went to this beautiful park in Bedford that has a man-made pond, a great splash pad/sprinkler area and, as luck would have it, a juggler/magician performing today! Jenny the Juggler was really fun (and very pregnant, though that didn't slow her down!) and Keagan was picked to get up and help with a magic trick as well, which made it all the more fun. When we got there, Torin was again asleep in the car and slept on me for a bit, but there was plenty of shade to lay out our blanket on and I didn't mind the quiet snuggle with him. It's funny how this keeps happening though, since I remember saying last year when I had a snoozing baby on me "well, I better enjoy it now, because I won't have it next Summer!"
After the park fun, we went to the Burlington Mall for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe (and new spider monkey stuffed animals). Torin was scared by the "puppets" and didn't love the thunderstorms either, but he trooped through it. Might be a while before we go back there again, though. But it was Keagan's birthday and his pick of restaurant.
Happy Birthday to my amazing little boy!
