Bolton Fair

This was the first year I took the boys to the Bolton Fair. It always seems to be on a weekend we are away or it's pouring rain. I'm so glad we finally went. It is a huge fair and we had a blast. There were carnival rides, which Keagan loved, but poor Torin was too short for most of, though he could do the carousel and a tube climber with ball pit. Keagan really liked this Spiderman Obstacle Course where you climbed up through some obstacles, went over a shaky bridge, and then down a big slide. I think he did that 6 times. They had tons of animals to see, both in a petting zoo and in show rings. Keagan had a great pony ride, we pet lots of bunnies, and even got an up close view of a skunk! (He was de-scented, so no spraying, thank goodness!) They also loved the hay maze. They chased each other around in that for about 20 minutes. The boys favorite thing of the day though, was the lady lumberjack show "Chicks with Axes." They LOVED watching them roll the logs in a pool till one fell, and they also liked the chopping races and ax throwing. We watched their show twice! We were exhausted on the ride home, for sure, but very satisfied.
