The weather was warm and dry, so I convinced Erik to try cutting our own tree this year at a local tree farm. There were many gorgeous trees there, but we did find "the one" eventually. Erik started to cut it down, but it proved a bit stubborn. We asked a farm worker for help and he confirmed that the saw we had was terrible, and grabbed a better one from another worker and the tree was down in a few seconds! The tree looked a lot more manageable in size on the farm. Once in our living room it takes up more space than we bargained for! We had to move the coffee table out to the playroom to provide room for this tree's girth. Can't wait to decorate!
