Today was "Opening Day" for Little League. It wasn't our first game, but it starts with a parade of all the teams through town, then a ceremony of introductions of teams and coaches and important people in the league and the National Anthem at the high school fields. Then Keagan got to play a "game" which ended up only being a ceremonial inning and we took team pictures. It was a long day because there were pauses of varying lengths between each step. Mema and Papa trooped out here to see the game and help me get through the picture taking. After all this effort, we definitely needed dinner out and stop at Erickson's for ice cream!
