The rash continues

Well, the doctor said to call this morning if his rash wasn't gone and it's not. So we had a couple doctors conferring on the phone that we can try a small dose of children's Benedryl. They said that since he was still nursing fine and acting normal with no fever that these things sometimes just take a little time to clear up. Of course if those parameters should change then we'll see someone right away (they have a backup family practice office on weekends so we don't have to go to the ER :) ). For now we are still under the assumption that it was the oatmeal.

When I had hives this past spring/summer, it was a reaction to something I ate (which we weren't able to determine, because I wasn't eating only two foods at the time! ;) )....It took me over two months, two rounds of steroids, and a boatload of Benedryl before they were gone. I doubt that Keagen's will last that long, but It's not uncommon for food allergies to cause that kind of reaction for 6-8 weeks, apparently.
