Peanut butter and a French Fry, Oh My!

Keagan has expanded his culinary world a bit this week with two new foods: Peanut butter and his first French Fry. Shocking you say? Well, our doctor said there were no longer any restrictions on his food choices now that he is one year of age and there is no history of severe food allergies in the family. Now with peanuts/peanut butter there are two small caveats: 1) You can't put gobs of peanut butter on something because he wouldn't know how to handle the stickiness and could choke 2) peanuts themselves are the perfect choking size, so they are still out. The french fry came at the end of a long day at the beach and he wasn't thrilled with sitting through dinner and mommy caved a bit. But hey, it was one stinking french fry! I don't think I've ruined him completely ;)

good for the french fry eating... did you know they can make you taller? Just kidding!

Isabelle still won't eat french fries. I think she is the only preschool kid on the planet who dislikes fries! Somewhere there is a McDonalds exective very concerned that my child won't eat fries. She could start an anti-fry movement and then where would McD's be?
