Once again, this extravaganza for Maynard kids was on one of the hottest days of the Summer. Ugh. I love Truck Day, but hanging out with no shade on asphalt is brutal this time of year. To make matters worse, this year I volunteered to walk with Torin's preschool class (he's in a couple weeks of "camp" there) from the school to Truck Day. The kids were like cranky wet noodles after the walk there. Thankfully, nothing perks preschoolers up like an ice cream truck and a ride on the Happy Wagon!
