"Balloon went pop!"

Keagan and I went grocery shopping today and got a free latex balloon for entertainment. As I was putting the groceries away in the car, the wind was blowing pretty hard and the balloon was bouncing off the side of the car, which I'm guessing was pretty hot, and the balloon suddenly popped. I gasped, but then calmly said "Oh well, balloon went pop. These things happen. We'll get another one next time." Keagan, much to my suprise, handled it quite well, and shook his head in agreement and echoed "bayoon pop".
Halfway home in the car, Keagan called out "Mommy! Mommy! Bayoon wen pop!" and I said "Yes, sweetie. The balloon popped, but it's ok, we'll get another one next time we're at the store" and then Keagan returned "oh well... sings appen... nother one."
I was beaming in the front seat.
