Yesterday's post made me remember two really cute phrases Keagan is using now. The first one really took flight the other day when I was letting Keagan play with a big tub of plastic cookie cutters (as we find places for everything in the new kitchen). He picked one up and looked at it carefully and I said "oh, that's a Christmas tree." He apparently thought this game of holding things up to Mommy and her naming it was fun, so he picked up another one and said "Waz zis?" and so began the game that went all the way through the tub of cookie cutters.
In an attempt to break through some toddler stubborness, I've been asking Keagan if he's willing to "try it" alot. So recently, Keagan has turned the tables on me. The other day he was playing in his red tunnel and he said "Mommy tunnel" and I said "I don't think so Keagan, I think Mommy's too big for the tunnel" to which he responded "Try it?" How could I say no to that? Of course, I didn't make it all the way through the tunnel, in fact, Mommy is too big. But he was sufficiently satisfied after that. He now says "try it?" everytime he wants something to which I don't give a firm "no" but more of an explanation instead. Mommy's learning too ;)
