Father's Day 2008

We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend. On Saturday, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and went to Centennial Beach in Hudson. Keagan loved playing in the water. The water was pretty warm, as it's not a huge lake, and we stayed in the water a long time. He loved watching Erik jump off the dock and playing "hide and seek" with Erik goinig under water and swimming around. We could tell he was a little unsure of the whole swimming thing, because he only wanted to be in Mommy's arms, but that's ok. He did stand in the shallow water for a little bit, but then a boat went by and the wake knocked him forward and he got a good mouthful of water. That's was it for being "on his own" in the water.
Saturday evening we took a trip to Salisbury Beach for some skee-ball and fried food! Keagan loved throwing the skee-balls up the lane and experimenting with other arcade games. Arcades are a total stimulation overload- luckily a dinner break on the beach helped us all settle down. Then it was back for another round, and another beach break for some icecream. It was a great trip.
On Sunday we had some friends over so that the Dad's could celebrate their day by playing computer and board games together. The Mommy's and kids also had fun playing together. We all ate pizza together for dinner, and the kids were adorable all sitting at the table together.
Happy Father's Day!
