Truck Day!!!

Every year the Maynard Library sponsors "Truck Day." I had heard tales of this event last year, and this year my whole playgroup decided to go together. Basically, this event is a bunch of vehicles in a parking lot and the kids can get in them- they had a fire truck, limosine, police car, police SUV, front loader, mail truck, helicopter, garbage truck, 18 wheeler, and a couple others that I didn't know their exact capacity. There is also a guy in Maynard with a ride on mower who hooks up a "train" of passenger cars to it and gives kids (and adults!) rides. Keagan loved watching the "choo-choo" but there was always a line, and Keagan's concept of waiting in line needs a little work still. The event was very stimulating for the kids, and a little overwhelming at times- mostly when older kids climbed into the trucks and honked their horns in competition with eachother- but Keagan had a BLAST. He LOVED the fire truck and climbed into both the front and the back twice. He was also really excited to get in the helicopter (with his friend, Connor) and asked the pilot "up in sky?"... maybe another time. The pictures aren't great quality because I took them on my phone- forgot the camera!
