Yesterday I was making breakfast and Keagan had a stuffed kitty with him in the TV when he shouts to me "Kitty needs a change of diaper" and I said "Ok, Buddy, change his diaper." Keagan is doing a lot of pretend play these days with everyday things that happen, like diaper changes, as well as feelings/emotions (he tends to tell you what to feel "Mommy, sad"... "Daddy scared"). Then I hear the scamper of little feet behind me as Keagan runs from the TV room down the hallway to the bedrooms and says as he goes "Be right back." A few seconds later I hear his thud thud thud socked-foot running again, back into the TV room. A minute after that he yells "Kitty's bummy clean!" At this point I am wondering what exactly he's doing, because I get the feeling it's gone slightly beyond "pretending." I go into the TV room, and there is Keagan with the wipes box and one wipe in his hand, cleaning the cat's bottom. Adorable. Of course that was the end of the wipes before I ended up with damp spots all over the couch.
Two other cute things:
When we tuck Keagan in at night and say "Night-Night, Sleep Tight" he now says "Thank You." Gets me every time.
Tonight while getting into PJs we were doing animal sounds and Keagan said "Rooster! Crocodile-Doo!" Priceless.

Awwww, I love both the thank you and the crocodile doo! That's so sweet.
I love those little things that make you realize he's growing into such an awesome and polite little guy! :)
