Trick or Treat!
Keagan and I enjoyed the beautiful weather and celebrated the holiday by going to Wilson's Farm in Lexington for their Spooky-not-Scary Hayride. Keagan loved it- being a big fan of tractor rides in general. They had fun stuff on the trip, including a tunnel (also a bit favorite of Keagan's). Keagan got an apple after the trip and promptly ate it all, while checking out some of their amazing pumpkins and giant Koi fish. Afterwards we came home and played in the leaves until dusk.
Also: my first attempt at the pumpkin carving where you don't actually cut it, you use a wedge tool and just shave the top skin off. You can get much more detailed with this method, although I kind of miss the big cut-out face idea. Keagan at least appreciated my efforts, walked right up to the pumpkin and said "Clifford!" I was glad the drawing came across so well. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

That looks like such a great place! Love the hay sculptures! Your pumpkin came out looking very professional. I saw that method the other day on "Martha"...(I only watched it for the halloween show)...an artist made an entire skeleton out of pumpkins. Happy Halloween...it was a perfect night for trick or treating!
