July 14th, 2009
The cat's out of the bag! This is the due date for our next baby :) Keeping in mind, Keagan's due date was actually July 10th, their birthdays may be quite close! We're hoping 3 years apart is good timing. Erik and I are thrilled, of course. This was a planned idea, and happened very quickly (thank goodness for modern birth control!). I am dealing with some nausea- throughout the day too, I don't know where the term "morning sickness" came from because it's certainly not just in the morning. I'm also tired at times, but other than that, no complaints. I saw my midwife last week for my first appointment and everything looks good so far. My next appointment isn't until after Christmas, so hopefully we'll get to hear the heartbeat then. Now I just have to concentrate on running around after Keagan when I'm feeling sick... it was a bit easier the first time when I could plop on the couch and watch daytime TV. Oh well!

Good for you!!!! It may be a girl with the nausea all day. Although, I loved being pregnant even with the all day hangover feeling. Good planning....dual birthday parties! Keep lots of movies on hand for Keagan, you can rest a bit, and he'll be happy too.

Congrats!!!! Maybe the new baby and Keagan will have the same b-day! That would be cool! Hope the nausea gets better, but if its a girl, I got bad news about that one... I was nauseous for 9 months, day and night. Swedish Fish helped alot, the red ones!

It seems in the family history, whenever we lose a member of the family, another new soul arrives!Yes, you'll be tired - but next time around, you'll be such a "pro." I've been watching 18 and Counting - the Duggar family - all single births..all 18 names beginning with the letter J. All home schooled! BEAUTIFUL children every one...but when you have two hands and two babies, it's enough! Just rest when you can and grow another lovely child. Have Keagan "help" with little jobs..and tell him he's going to be a great big brother.... Congratulations! Love XOXO Peg
