Toddler Bed update

Keagan has been sleeping through the night in his toddler bed- just one night in the crib during transition, but other than that, it's toddler bed all the way. He enjoys playing in his new room too, and the freedom to go in and out of the bed when he needs a little rest- which we are encouraging him to do. He is allowed to have his Binky only in his room at this point, so if he needs a little Binky moment, he knows to go in there and soothe himself. He has taken a couple naps in there as well, which is an improvement from sleeping in the crib (which he would refuse to go in during the day). Yesterday he went in and closed the door behind himself at 4:30pm and took a nearly hour nap! A bit later in the day than is helpful, but we're happy he is taking it upon himself to rest when he needs to. He woke up happy and ready for dinner, so it worked out fine. Another thing he is enjoying doing in his new room is getting his diaper changing things for us when we do a change. We put his diapers, wipes, pad and bum cream in his closet and take them out for changes (on the bed) and he is happy to go in the closet and get everything out for us. It's really cute.
