Mickey Who?

We had Mema, Papa, Isabelle, Adeline, Tarah and Ken over this past weekend for a family dinner to celebrate Mema, Papa and Tarah's birthdays (February is basically another Christmas in our family, since Isabelle is also in Feb). Isabelle brought Keagan a Mickey Mouse hat back from her trip to Disney. Keagan doesn't know who Mickey is yet- we're holding off on the big Disney plunge and sticking with PBS Kids as long as possible. He does love the hat though and was prancing around in it that night. He even learned how to put the elastic down around his chin to hold it on- although occasionally snaps it back on himself and said "Ow!"

PS- You will note Keagan's hair is down to his eyes. Well, he was has been battling some eczema on his scalp for a few weeks (we have it under control now with a trip to the dermatologist) so we put off going to the barber since his head was sensitive. Now whenever we ask if he wants his haircut he refuses... I think I'm going to hold off and let him experience the hair in his face feeling until he _wants_ to get it cut- in the hopes that this avoids him screaming in the barber chair again. We'll see! If not, he'll have a surfer-dude look going on by Summer.
