The weather was gorgeous this weekend and on our way home from a walk with Willow we saw one of Keagan's friends playing with her Dad at the playground. Erik took Keagan over to play while I took Willow home and grabbed some provisions of snacks, drinks and boots for Erik (who was only in sneakers when I left him). As I'm sure you can tell from the pictures, it was WET. The base in the playground is sand, which just doesn't seem to soak up puddles as quickly as some other ground coverings. The kids didn't mind in the slightest- they made up a game of splashing into puddles and wet snow and yelling "Oh no!" Some of the puddles when well over Keagan's froggie boots; we all needed new socks (and pants) when we got home. Such is the price for Spring Meltdown fun!
