Easter in Sag Harbor

Friday evening we picked up Mema and Papa and drove to the ferry for an Easter adventure on Long Island. Keagan was a trooper during the travel and enjoyed going on the "big boat" very much. We can't say the same for Mema, but with some Dramamine, she too was a trooper. We all dined at Bay Burger for dinner and breakfast the next day, which was a big treat. I told Keagan before we went down that Uncle Joey makes the best grilled cheese sandwich, and he replied "the best grilled cheese sandwich ever!" and then proceeded to ask Joe to make him the best grilled cheese sandwich ever when we got down there. I have to say, I think Joe succeeded. Keagan slept beautifully in his new travel bed while we were there, for which we were extremely grateful. He did have some trouble with all the car hopping and house hopping between the restaurant, Liza and Joe's house and Lindsay and John's house. He was out of his own environment and schedule, so we had a couple minor meltdowns, but all-in-all I think he did a great job and had fun. We had a spectacular Easter Brunch at Lindsay and John's house and Keagan had his first Easter Egg Hunt there. Last year we did a little one with playgroup, but I don't think he remembered it, and this time was a real treat for him. He also had his first handful of jelly beans. That was a real treat.

I wonder if he'd move this slow if there were other egg grabbers around....never stop to eat out of the egg, just keep running! He'll have to come to Kristin's next Easter, that is a cut throat egg hunt!
