The Circle is Now Complete

I was reading books with Keagan tonight and we have to be a little quiet as the baby is sleeping next door. Keagan slaps the book with his hand excitedly. "Keagan, quiet buddy", I said. "It wasn't me, it was my hand", Keagan replies. "OK, Keagan's hand, you are not allowed to play anymore", and I move his hand off to the side as a consequence. Keagan's other hand chimes in, "Please can I play with my friend?". "OK, Keagan's other hand. Maybe can you ask him to be a little quieter?" "OK" (One hand whisper's excitedly to the other. "Hey we can just play more quietly!" He now clasps his hands and exclaims, "Look, their hugging!".

Yes, that's right. He drew me into a conversation with his hands.

This is hilarious and adorable! I love how a kid's imagination works!

Hmmm, this sounds suspiciously like something his father might have taught him ;)
