Today was Maynard's downtown Trick or Treat event when they close off one of the streets and all the businesses hand out candy. We haven't gone since Keagan was 4 months old because he refused to wear a costume the last two years. But this year he LOVED it. He was shouting "Trick or Treat" all down the street, not just saying it before getting candy. We saw some scary costumes, but he said "I'm not scared. They are just kids in masks." The weather was really warm! So warm, I couldn't put Torin in his fleece cow costume I had lined up for him without sweating horribly. I decided on making him a baseball player with some PJs he had that look like a baseball uniform, a baseball cap, and letting him carry a foam ball. He just rode in the stroller the whole time, but was happy people watching.
After the trip downtown, we came back home, ate some candy and then worked off the sugar raking leaves into a big pile at the bottom of the slide. What else should you do on a 75 degree October day?
