Torin fell asleep in the car after a playground trip this afternoon (after no napping at his usual time, sigh), so Keagan and I played with sidewalk chalk for a while in the driveway to let Torin sleep for a little while. Keagan decided he wanted a big "welcome" sign at the bottom of the driveway and I said maybe we should make it say "Welcome Home Daddy" for when Daddy came home. I drew the W and the C in welcome and Keagan did the rest. He needed a little coaching on some letters, and clearly "M" isn't quite there for him yet, but it was super cute and I had to take a picture.
He also drew a blue "Penguin" which I was psyched about because you can actually see his thought process on making it look like a penguin. He is generally anti-drawing- in I guess a typical boy way, so any time he does I try to encourage it.
