Truck Day and BAA Party!

Big day today! Keagan was in preschool "camp" and then the class walked to Truck Day together and Erik, Torin and I met them there. Truck Day is a major holiday in Maynard. Mark the librarian runs it and gets all the town-owned trucks there, plus some others- including the greatly anticipated "Happy Wagon". Owen and Keagan went together for their Happy Wagon trip, and then Torin and I went together. Truck Day is inevitably on a hot, humid day. Every year. We were sweltering, but finished off with some popsicles to help.
Then it was off to Erik's company's annual cookout party. This year it was at a great park with some playground equipment, plenty of eating space and great fields. We brought our huge bubble maker kit and had some fun with that. Again, we were all hot, and by mid-afternoon we'd all had enough sun. But it was a great party and a lot of fun.
